Terms of Service – PayLess TV Mounting
Last Updated: December 5, 2025These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the website **paylesstvmounting.com**, any related pages or booking tools, and any services offered by PayLess TV Mounting (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or book services.
1. Eligibility and Use of the Site
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use our Services. By using our website or booking services, you represent that:
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You are using the Services for lawful purposes only.
- You will provide accurate and complete information when requested.
2. Nature of Our Services
PayLess TV Mounting provides **standard TV mounting** on interior walls only. We do not perform custom AV design, construction work, or complex wiring. We may perform services using our own employees, independent contractors, or vetted third-party technicians (collectively, "Technicians").
Unless we state otherwise in a written agreement, your contract for services is with PayLess TV Mounting, and we are responsible for coordinating the work performed by our Technicians.
3. Scheduling, Quotes, and Bookings
You may request or schedule services through our website, our online booking tool, by phone, text, or email. When you book:
- You agree to provide accurate contact details and service address.
- You authorize us to verify the appointment details and confirm the booking.
- You understand that appointment windows are estimated and may vary due to traffic, building access, or job complexities.
Any prices or estimates provided before the visit are based on the information you provide. Final pricing may change if the actual conditions differ (for example, unusually high ceilings, extra wiring, additional devices, or structural issues). Your Technician will explain any material changes before proceeding where practical.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that the following conditions are met for the successful and safe completion of service:
- Confirm that any mounting location can safely support the equipment.
- Backup any data on devices before we work on them.
- Notify us of unusual conditions (e.g., radiant heat, electrical issues).
- Ensure your TV, mount, and wall are in a suitable condition for installation.
- Be present (or have an authorized adult present) during the appointment.
- Secure pets and valuables in the work areas.
We are **not** responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incomplete or inaccurate information, lack of access, or unsafe conditions at the job site.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and No-Shows
We understand that plans can change. Our current cancellation and rescheduling rules, including any applicable fees, are posted in our booking tool but may be updated from time to time.
In general, if you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so as early as possible. Late cancellations, repeated rescheduling, or failure to be present during the appointment window may result in a fee to cover our Technician's time and travel.
6. Payments and Billing
Payment is typically due at the time of service completion unless otherwise specified in writing. By submitting a booking or payment method, you authorize us or our third-party payments processors to charge the amount shown for:
- Services performed
- Any agreed-upon add-ons or materials
- Applicable sales and fees
We use secure third-party providers to process payments. We do not store your full credit card number on our systems. Your use of those payment processors may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Technicians and Independent Contractors
Some or all services may be performed by independent contractors or subcontractors. These Technicians are required to follow our standards for professionalism, safety, and quality.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship between you and any Technician. You agree not to treat Technicians as your employees for tax or legal purposes and not to instruct them to perform work that is unsafe, illegal, or outside the agreed scope.
8. Property Conditions and Limitations
Our Technicians will use reasonable care when working in your home or business. However, certain conditions (such as hidden wiring or plumbing, brittle walls, or pre-existing damages) may create risks that cannot be fully known in advance.
